Secure Wires Through Dirt And Grease-Mag Daddy Magnetic Fasteners

The item that I am going to share with you this week is the family of fasteners collectively known as Mag Daddy – Magnetic Fasteners.

The Basics

I know some of you are saying; wait a minute aren’t some of those locations likely to fall under special regulations? Yes they do but you should know by now that Rack-A-Tiers would of thought of that.

The Mag Daddy family of fasteners is UL listed, and meets both NEC and CEC standards to be used in Plenums (air handling spaces). They have passed testing for mounting 5E UTP Cable without interference and have a Flammability rating; UL 94: HB.

In other words they are super safe besides being convenient.

Why Use Them

I am so glad you asked that question. The biggest reason to use them is that they will save you a boat load of time and trouble. They make mounting wires and cable a breeze. You stick them in place and secure your wires. No more drilling and trying to fish a wire tie through the holes. It literally takes less than a second to mount a Mag Daddy and if a customer changes plans, on you, as they will often do, you just pull it and relocate. They are completely reusable.
